Location
This bali villa is located in the traditional fishing village of Seseh on Bali’s south-western coast. Encompassed by nature, within peaceful rural surroundings, it is only a twenty-five minutes’ drive from the fashionable shops, world-class restaurants and vibrant nightspots of Seminyak, and about a forty-five minutes’ drive from Bali’s International Airport. It is a fifteen-minute car journey from Nirwana Golf Course, one of the best golf courses in Asia; and close to Tanah Lot, Bali’s most dramatic and venerated sea temple. The majority of the island’s tourist attractions are also within easy reach.
The approach to this Bali villa is by way of a country lane marked by an ancient, holy banyan tree. Emerald rice fields line the road as it meanders through an avenue of coconut palms. Colourful temple ceremonies, together with farmers in conical hats riding rusty old upright bicycles, are a common sight – the rural life of Seseh village has not been dented by tourism.

The smooth flat gardens are perfect for weddings, and also provide a great play area for children. The swimming pool with sunbeds has a toddler’s platform at the shallow end. The garden is romantically lit at night by ground lamps that illuminate the trees.

Rumah Utama is set within the open-air living and dining pavilion, the kitchen, the main room with its en suite opened bathroom and the outstanding sunset “aperitif” corner.
