This contemporary Asian-influenced Bali villa provides an open-air lodging from which to escape the bustle of downtown and retire into ones own private world. A traditinal village of Banjar Padang and paddy fields are framing the access ways to Villa Baliku.

The villa was carefully designed in minimalist modern, accented with slight decent touches of Balinese elements and selective usage of natural materials. Two semi-separate buildings constitute the main living areas of the villa, separated by an open lawn and swimming pool, and natural Palimanan tiled walkways.

Villa Bougainvillea is a GKA (4 seasons Jimbaran Bay & Maldives Spa) designed Balinese masterpiece, nestled amongsth the verdant rice paddies of Canggu around 25 minutes from urban living of Seminyak. Upon entering the grounds via the Balinese entrance gate, one finds oneself descending white palimanan steps into a Made Wijaya designed tropical paradise. The extraordinary 10 meter high open plan living/dining area is the centerpiece of this tranquil Balinese oasis.

From the main living area the view looks out over the swimming pool, a large flowering garden, beautiful established trees along the Pangi River and then the lush rice fields of Canggu. This Bali property is decorated in Dutch colonial/Balinese style. All of the furniture is made from solid teak and most pieces are carved Indonesian antiques.

The cushions and pillows are all hand made and are of striking hues. Each bedroom is decorated in a different color scheme and there are beautiful Indonesian batik hangings on the walls, along with masks and other indigenous art works.
